The AS 550 industrial vacuum is designed to collect large amounts of production trimmings. The Depureco's vacuum from the food & pharma range is fitted with a side-channel turbine situated under the 215 lt collection chamber. Suction, which is from the bottom, means that the vacuumed material is sent straight into a filter bag, thus allowing a large number of materials to be recovered, such as paper, plastic, and packaging trimmings. The inspection window on the top cover of this vacuum cleaner allows the operator to inspect the level of material inside the container.
SUCTION UNIT
The suction unit is a side channel blower with direct coupling between motor and impeller. The side channel blower is equipped with a safety valve to guarantee a totally safe continuous work, without any maintenance.
INLET
A robust nozzle acts as the intake point for the vacuumed material. A deflector is joined to the nozzle so that the material is conveyed towards the bottom of the bag. Nozzles in different diameters are available upon request and a second one can be installed on the lid.

FILTERING ELEMENT
Inside the container there is a textile bag for material collection. The material passes through the inlet, and it goes into the bag. Meanwhile the air passes through the textile permitting to guarantee a continuous suction. This system forces the material to the bottom of the bag, in order to compact the residual material and collect big quantities into the bag.

INSPECTION WINDOW
AS vacuum cleaners are equipped with an inspection window which gives the possibility to check the quantity of material inside the bin without opening the lid.
